Job Purpose:
To lead and expand the company’s international sales of transformers by identifying new markets, building strong client relationships, and developing effective marketing strategies. The role will drive revenue growth, profitability, and brand positioning in global markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Export Sales Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement the export sales plan aligned with company goals.
Identify and target new international markets, tenders, and OEM partnerships.
Business Development
Generate leads and inquiries from overseas utilities, EPC contractors, OEMs, and government bodies.
Participate in international exhibitions, trade delegations, and B2B meetings.
Negotiate commercial terms and close contracts.
Client & Partner Relationship Management
Maintain strong relationships with key international clients and distributors.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and after-sales support.
Market Intelligence & Product Positioning
Monitor international tenders, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
Provide input on product positioning, pricing, and customization for global needs.
Team Collaboration & Reporting
Collaborate with engineering, production, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution.
Prepare monthly sales forecasts, MIS reports, and performance dashboards.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of power transformers, distribution transformers, and electrical equipment.
In-depth understanding of international trade, export documentation, INCOTERMS, and LC handling.
Proven track record in B2B sales and managing large-scale export projects.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Willingness to travel internationally as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred)
MBA in Marketing / International Business (desirable)
