He shall be responsible for the Industrial Engineering function for Unit-4.
Job description:
The role requires management of Industrial Engineering function including new tool developement & Industrial Engineering practices. He shall be working with Head- Engineering & Maintenance. Brief responsibilities are as given below
- Management of process equipment - Oven, VPD & Oil management
- Ensure Uptime for process equipment
- Ensure equipment performance
- Support Head E&M for Annual Preventive Maintenance planning
- Support Head E&M for Monthly PPM planning
- Support Head E&M for OPEX planning for Spares & Consumables
- Executive & monitor PPM plans in consultation with Elect & Mech teams
- Resource allocation for PPM and routine shift management
- Monitoring of Equipment operation costs and taking appropriate actions to reduce unit cost
- Training and developement of team members
- Material indenting & ERP up-dation
- Monitoring E&M KPIs, reviewing variances and taking corrective actions
- Liasoning and support for compliances
Your responsibilities:
• Manage 3M resources (Man, Machine, Material) to ensure minimal downtime
• Strive to reduce downtime
• Escalate issues or obstacles affecting Equipment operation schedule to Head E&M
• Liaise with other managers or external agencies to ensure compliances
Knowledge & Skill sets expected:
• 10 plus years’ experience in maintenance (Preferably in a transformer factory
- 5 plus years’ experience in handling IE activities
• Sound knowledge of IE practices
• Technically sound on various aspects of Industrial engineering
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
• Experience in reporting on key production metrics
• Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
Qualification & Experience:
1.BE/B-Tech (Industrial Engg) or Diploma (Industrial Engg)
2.Min 10 years' experience for BE/B-Tech or min 15 years' experience for Diploma
